Kathy M's Story
Life
Alot of people have asked for info; so here it is :
Prior to highschool graduation; attended 4 years of summer school. I than graduated in '83 with many that know me. Shortly there after attended MATC downtown campus;when it was still open in SECRETARIAL SCIENCE EXEC...but did not continue. I attended for a year as highschool with 4 yrs of summer school had taken been a long haul. I Met my husband to be; had one child(now in college(Talented/gifted) and working. She graduates in a year.
Almost 4 yrs to the day; we had child #2. He is a son; HE is almost out of school as time is nearing when both will have flown the nest.
He is special needs in many ways as you can read more on my profile as to what I do everyday of the wee...Expand for more
k (Advocacy for families; familes who are affected in many different ways).
I am now still in midst of doing what I started when our son came along ; however in much different position. I am now very politcally involved and 3rd time going to CAPITAL HILL to rally for more services/help/supports and otherwise all the way across the board.
This is my second year and when we go; we always take our son so they can meet him/speak with him of what can be accomplished.
This keeps me very busy with advocacy(phone calls/packets, letters, emails,meetings), my own family(my children ..split time) & finally my husband whom has been with me for the last 22 years. This is my most recent update ... Hope to see many and hear from many.
